I am a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management at University London Hospital Trusts. My main interest is in acute and chronic pain management. I have been leading the Acute Pain Service for many years and are actively involved in pain research. My clinical experience is in vascular and thoracic anaesthesia and also in acute, chronic, cancer and complex pain at UCLH. Teaching and research form an important part of my responsibilities and make life as a consultant challenging and interesting. I am modular lead for chronic pain as a part of the MSc for Pain management at UCL. I have been a chair, senior examiner and examiner for the European Society of Anesthesiology (EDAIC) for many years examining in German and English. I have been hosting the exam many times before covid. I have been a member of three NICE guidance committes. introduce basic services. Recently I have joined drugscience.com as a medical expert.
